The referees and judges overseeing the UFC 323 main and co-main events have been selected by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
The officials were chosen on Wednesday during a monthly meeting with the commission.
In the main event, UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili looks for his fourth title defense in 2025 when he faces Petr Yan in a rematch. Dvalishvili thoroughly dominated Yan in their first encounter but now they’ll meet again in the final pay-per-view of 2025.
Marc Goddard is set to serve
as the referee overseeing the bout, and he’ll receive a $2,900 payment for his duties.
The judges scoring Dvalishvili vs. Yan include Mike Bell, Derek Cleary and Eric Colon with those officials earning $2,500 for the event.
As for the co-main event, Alexandre Pantoja puts his UFC flyweight title up for grabs as he attempts to add another title defense to his already impressive resume when he takes on fast-rising star Joshua Van.
Herb Dean is set to serve as the referee for the flyweight title fight while the judges scoring the fight include Sal D’Amato, Chris Lee, and Ron McCarthy.
With selections made for the main and co-main events, the rest of the referee and judging assignments will get decided during fight week for UFC 323, which takes place on Dec. 6 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
