The (1-0) Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the (0-1) Indianapolis Colts on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 2 of the NFL season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, and the game will be broadcast on NBC and KSHB-41 locally.
After a wall-to-wall season-opening win, the Chiefs have another primetime opportunity to make a statement against an AFC playoff contender. Indianapolis did have a rough start to the season, losing 41-23 to the Baltimore Ravens at home,
but the Colts’ offense was considered the conference’s best less than a year ago. Running back Jonathan Taylor seemed like the league’s MVP through the first half of last year.
A Week 12 game between these two teams went the Chiefs’ way, but neither organization finished the year strong; both quarterbacks—Patrick Mahomes and Daniel Jones—suffered season-ending injuries that each has recovered from.
