The Carolina Hurricanes are back in action for their second and final regular season meeting against the Vegas Golden Knights at the Lenovo Center in Raleigh on Tuesday night.
After a 4-2-0 road trip that
has left the team without several key players, the Hurricanes will hope to get some reinforcements as they look to avenge their 4-1 loss to Vegas in Nevada.
Jaccob Slavin and K’Andre Miller appear likely to remain out of action on the backend, but Shayne Gostisbehere could be able to return, which would be a boost to both the team’s top power play unit and defensive group.
Vegas is coming off two straight losses to the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning as they close out a road trip of their own on Tuesday.
Caniac Nation will finally get to recalibrate its hockey-related sleep schedule tonight after the lengthy State Fair road trip and several late nights.
