We are just a few hours away from kickoff of the 5th Purdue football game of the season. After hitting the road for the first time two weeks ago at Notre Dame, Purdue got a bye week to try and get things right. With the bye week over the Boilermakers got back into game prep and prepared for an Illinois team that sits at #22 in the AP poll and despite one glaringly bad game at IU has largely taken care of business. The two teams do have a common opponent as Illinois just took down USC last weekend
on a game winning field goal. The Purdue defense will have to find a way to get off the field (without the opponent scoring) and give the offense an opportunity. I think Browne and the offense have been under a lot of pressure given the struggles of the defense to score on each possession. I think that pressure leads to mistakes and has put the offense in some bad bad spots.
