The Tampa Bay Buccaneers saw some encouraging movement on Thursday’s injury report as they continued preparations for Sunday’s season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Running back Sean Tucker returned to practice on a limited basis after sitting out Wednesday with a hamstring injury. Rookie outside linebacker Rueben Bain Jr. also improved, moving from limited participation Wednesday to a full participant Thursday despite a shoulder injury.
Wide receiver Jalen McMillan (knee), linebacker Christian
Rozeboom (foot) and offensive tackle Justin Skule (oblique) remained limited for a second straight day. Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (toe) and guard Billy Schrauth (knee) were again full participants.
Cincinnati added several names Thursday. Defensive tackle Jonathan Allen did not practice for rest, while B.J. Hill was limited for rest. Defensive end Shemar Stewart went from full to limited with a knee injury, and cornerback DJ Turner II was limited by a hamstring issue. Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins remained full participants heading into Friday’s final injury report.
