The Winter Meetings have arrived, and we are at the apex event of the offseason. This is when the most momentum builds towards those star contracts and blockbuster trades, and while this winter has been a quiet one for the Yankees so far there’s hope that things change over the course of this week.
The problem areas for the roster remain untouched, and the candidates to fill the gaps are still all available. Will the Yankees be able to hoard off other suitors and re-sign Cody Bellinger, or are they
better off “falling back” to their plan B in pursuing Kyle Tucker? Are they really in on Tatsuya Imai, or were Brian Cashman and Hal Steinbrenner just posturing about reemerging in the Japanese market? If you have questions like this, or anything else on your mind, send ‘em in for a chance to be featured in our Yankees mailbag.
Answers will run on Friday afternoon. All questions received by the night of December 11th will be considered. You can leave your submissions in the comment section below or by e-mail to pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com.
