All fighters made weight in Riyadh ahead of Saturday’s Ring IV: Night of the Champions card, co-headlined by David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde and Devin Haney vs Brian Norman Jr.
Benavidez (30-0, 24 KO)
will defend his WBC light heavyweight title against Yarde (27-3, 24 KO) in the closing fight of the show. Both came in under the 175 lb limit, with Benavidez at 174.3 and Yarde at 173.9.
Norman’s WBO welterweight title will be on the line against Haney, who has been positioned as the promotional A-side of the matchup. Norman (28-0, 22 KO) weighed in at 146.12 lbs, with Haney (32-0, 15 KO) at 146.6, both under the limit of 147.
More weights from the card:
- Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez and Fernando Martinez came in at 114.6 and 113.12, respectively, for their three-belt title clash at super flyweight (115 lb limit).
- Adullah Mason was at 134 lbs, with Sam Noakes at 134.9, as the two meet for the vacant WBO lightweight (135 lbs) title.
- Vito Mielnicki Jr and Samuel Nmomah both weighed 159.6 lbs for their middleweight fight.
