According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), former Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller will be doing punditry work for MagentaTV during the 2026 FIFA World Cup:
Thomas Müller is set to become
a TV pundit during next summer’s World Cup.
Müller agreed with Deutsche Telekom to collaborate on the MagentaTV platform during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. At MagentaTV, Müller will offer classic analyses, spontaneous live reactions, casual talks and tactical insights.
MagentaTV will broadcast all 104 World Cup matches live in Germany, 44 of them will be exclusive. The remaining 60 matches will also be broadcast on ARD and ZDF.
Müller seems like a natural for this type of work, but it likely rules out the notion that he could join the German national team staff for the tournament.
