What would you do?
That’s the question everyone is asking and debating ahead of the Arizona Cardinals debut on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
So, let’s Saturday morning quarterback before we Monday morning quarterback the decision.
Jeremiyah Love is questionable, so what would you do if you are Mike LaFleur?
I’ve seen a couple of interesting thoughts, so I’ll lay them out.
First one was that for LaFleur, if Love isn’t feeling 100% he shouldn’t play. I’m not opposed to that, but I think overall
it’s also a great opportunity to work through minor (I know a high ankle isn’t really minor) ailments. If he’s close to where the medical staff wants him (of course we are talking Cardinals medical staff so you may have a point to ignore that).
Another one was to let Love decide. I… don’t agree with that one at all.
If there is any inkling that Love shouldn’t go, it’s too early and he’s too important to let him make the call. Just my opinion.
At the end of the day for me, I am fine with a game time decision from all parties. See how he feels and looks in warmups, and do what is best for the season, not for the first game.
But let’s get our opinion out there, good or bad.
