We are approaching an important game for the Jets in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns. It appears the team is on the verge of getting back one of its top two tight ends.
Mason Taylor, who has missed the last two games with a thumb injury, has been a full participant at both days of Jets practice this week.
The status of Adonai Mitchell, who has also missed the last two weeks with a finger injury, looks dicier. Mitchell has not participated in practice yet this week. Aaron Glenn has termed both Mitchell and
running back Breece Hall “week-to-week” suggesting neither’s return is imminent.
Veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick, who was placed on injured reserve at the close of training camp, is back practicing this week and has been a full participant, suggesting he could make his season debut for the Jets against Cleveland.
The Jets are getting healthier at the skill spots, but it appears they will likely be dipping into their depth once again in Week 5.
