
The Washington Commanders hosted the New York Giants for their season opener. There are four games on this afternoon, and Fox has two of them. Their first game is an NFC West game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. The Niners are road favorites to open the season. The second game has this year’s No. 1 overall pick, QB Cam Ward, and the Tennessee Titans visiting Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos.

CBS also has two games on their late afternoon schedule. The NFC North gets their first division game of the season with the Detroit Lions visiting the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. This will be Micah Parsons first game for the Packers after getting traded to them for two firsr-round picks and DT Kenny Clark. Parson is dealing with a back injury and could be limited in Week 1. The second game has the Houston Texans visiting the Los Angeles Rams.
