The road to the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League final will officially begin next week as the league phase draw takes place in Monaco.
The draw is scheduled for Thursday, August 27 at 12PM. EDT (5PM local BST), with all 36 teams being drawn from four pots. Each club will be handed eight different opponents, with four matches played at home and four away.
For Bayern Munich, the draw will reveal the eight opponents standing between Vincent Kompany’s side and another run at European glory. The league phase
itself begins September 8, with the top eight teams advancing directly to the Round of 16.
The draw will be available live on the CBS Sports Golazo Network, with CBS Sports also listing dedicated live coverage of the event.
