The Guardians lost a bad game, yesterday, 9-2, to the Astros. Slade Cecconi looked pretty lousy again, but at least he said the right things after the game:
Steven Kwan, Kyle Manzardo, David Fry, Bo Naylor and Juan Brito are providing
next to nothing at the plate. Connor Brogdon, Shawn Armstrong and Matt Festa continue to get hit hard every time out. So, if we solve those six issues, we’ll win a World Series. Nice to know.
AROUND MLB:
The Tigers and Royals both lost. The Mets lost their 11th straight, which is quite funny.
