Another season, another year of taking in Phillies games from one of the best ballparks in baseball…Citizens Bank Park. I don’t say that with hyperbole or sarcasm, I really do believe that. Each year before the season starts, the Phillies like to host media to show off its new offerings. These include both new ballpark features and food items offered. Let’s take a quick look at what we have to look forward to, especially if you are heading to CBP today.
Per the Phillies:
A Reimagined Cadillac Hall of Fame Club
The newly renovated Cadillac
Hall of Fame Club introduces a completely reimagined, modern environment for ticketholders, with redesigned interiors and thoughtfully integrated gathering spaces that create a more interactive, contemporary game-day experience, complemented by upgrades to select suites, which offer an intimate, premium setting for both business entertaining and social occasions.
I can attest that the renovated HoF Club is very, very nice. It is very upscale and forget you are in a ballpark at times. The Bistro offered a bunch of cool items from renowned Philly-Area restaurants (see examples further beelow).
Bringing Phillies History to Life in an Expanded Cooperstown Gallery
Within the Cadillac Hall of Fame Club, the Cooperstown Gallery debuts as a permanent installation celebrating the history of the team.
The gallery features a curated collection of milestones and memorabilia, including World Series trophies, retired numbers, player awards, and artifacts spanning generations of Phillies baseball, offering fans an immersive look at the defining moments and figures that have shaped the franchise since its founding in 1883.
Access to the gallery and the Cadillac Hall of Fame Club is available to Philadelphia Insurance Club and Independence Blue Cross Suite Level ticket holders, as well as those seated in the Cadillac Hall of Fame Club. Additionally, the Phillies will offer guided tours on select dates throughout the season for all fans to enjoy this historic collection.
A New Culinary Program Inspired by Philadelphia
An expanded culinary program, in collaboration with Aramark Sports + Entertainment, introduces an elevated dining experience within the Cadillac Hall of Fame Club, inspired by Philadelphia’s dynamic and award-winning food scene.
As part of the renovation, the Club’s Bistro has been upgraded with full cooking capabilities, including the addition of new hood systems, delivering a more elevated, made-to-order dining experience. To complement this premier dining destination, the Phillies are introducing in-seat delivery service for Cadillac Hall of Fame Club ticket holders, ensuring fans can enjoy world-class cuisine while never missing a pitch.
The Bistro will feature chef-driven menu items throughout the season, with contributions from acclaimed local chefs including Marc Vetri (Vetri Cucina Family); Matthew Cahn (Middle Child); Nish Patel (Del Rossi’s); Evan Snyder (Emmett); Juan Carlos Aparicio Torres (El Chingon); and Amanda Shulman (Her Place Supper Club, My Loup and Pine Street Grill); and Pidor Yang (Sahbyy Food). Chefs will rotate by homestand, creating an evolving and distinctly Philadelphia dining experience for fans throughout the season.
The expanded program also highlights beloved local institutions such as Termini Brothers and Wilt’s Berries, alongside elevated takes on classic ballpark fare. Additionally, player-inspired offerings such as Sánchez Sliders (Cristopher Sánchez) in the Cadillac Hall of Fame Club, as well as the Schwarbomb Sundae (Kyle Schwarber) and The Sweeper (Jesús Luzardo) can be found throughout the ballpark, with a portion of proceeds benefiting charitable organizations selected by each player.
Together, the culinary program reflects a broader evolution of the Citizens Bank Park experience, bringing together Philadelphia chefs, hometown brands, and player-driven collaborations in a way that reflects the character and energy of the city.
There aren’t a whole lot of different food items offered this year, but the ones they are introducing are quite good.
The Sanchez Sliders – Coca Cola Corner, Hall of Fame Club (Includes two honey-stung chicken tenders tossed in a house-made hot spice blend and served on potato rolls with Grillo’s Pickles, garlic aioli and Mike’s Hot Honey.A portion of the proceeds benefits Clínica de Familia, a nonprofit community healthcare clinic in Sánchez’s hometown.)
Schwarbomb Sundae – Coca-Cola Corner (A sundae featuring Richman’s soft-serve topped with a funnel-cake-fried strawberry Uncrustable, fresh strawberry sauce and fruity cereal pieces. A portion of the proceeds benefits Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes charity.)
The Sweeper – Campo’s (Created with Jesús Luzardo, this will only available only when Luzardo takes the mound at Citizens Bank Park. It is a ribeye steak with pizza sauce and topped with provolone cheese and pepperoni. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Luzardo Family Foundation.)
1883 Burger Co Smash Burger – Sections 109, 207 & 323 (A reinvented ode to the Phillies inception, now composed of two Pat LaFrieda signature blend patties with yellow American cheese, Grillo’s Pickles and sweet heat sauce served on a Liscio’s Bakery potato roll.)
Bull’s BBQ Sampler Platter – Left Field Plaza (A tasting portions of Bull’s signature pulled pork, burnt ends and smoked turkey are paired with baked beans and creamy coleslaw, served with classic white bread.)
Hatfield Phootlong Dog – Sections 114, 129 & 314 – Hatfield Classics Grill (A jumbo version of the classic Phillies Frank, served on a Liscio’s Bakery potato roll.)
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Home Plate – Section 126 – Out with Shake Shack and in with Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and Chickie’s & Pete’s.
Freddy’s is a personal favorite of mine. I’ll often visit their Burlington location because its easily the best fast food burger joint around. Also, can’t hurt to have another C&P location to get more crab fries to the people.
GHOST® Energy Deck (Left Field Porch/Scoreboard Building)
- The Phillies will debut the all-new GHOST® Energy Deck in the Left Field Scoreboard Porch — a vibrant, high-energy destination at one of the ballpark’s most exciting viewpoints.
- More than just a place to watch the game, fans can enjoy a full lineup of GHOST® Energy flavors featured in ballpark-exclusive specialty cocktails, including the Broad Street Bomber, GHOST® Fusion, Red, White & BOOM and the Creamsicle Walk-Off. The new space will also offer limited snacks and a rotating mix of interactive experiences such as celebrity bartending, samplings, prizes and more throughout the season.
- GHOST**®** Energy is the official energy drink of the Phillies and co-founded by West Chester native and longtime Phillies fan Ryan Hughes.
LaScala’s FIRE (Philadelphia Insurance Club) – Known across the Philly area and South Jersey for its bold Italian-American flavors and vibrant hospitality, LaScala’s FIRE is the new culinary partner for the Philadelphia Insurance Club behind home plate. Led by South Philadelphia native Rob LaScala, LaScala’s FIRE elevates the dining experience for premium guests and reinforces the ballpark’s focus on highlighting top local brands and delivering restaurant quality hospitality.
Expanded New Era Phillies Team Store
The Phillies will also open a fully renovated, expanded bi-level New Era Phillies Team Store, representing a significant upgrade to the retail experience at Citizens Bank Park.
This was perhaps the most impressive unveiling of the evening. Completely renovated, it hardly looks like the same store. Gorgeous display screens will be playing so you don’t miss the game and it will feature new items as you first walk in. The upstairs is all about the authentic player-worn items, while the downstairs has something for everyone. The big feature will obviously be the upcoming All-Star Game for which you can find anything with that logo including: T-shirts, hats, hoodies, plushies, drinking glasses, pins, magnets, drink cozies, tumblers, baseballs, Victis mini-bats, rally towels, pennants, calendars, socks, and even a Benjamin Franklin coffee mug. Of course, you will still find all the classic Phillies and Phanatic merch, and some Opening Day items as well.
