Seth Rollins has a dog to worry about at Night of Champions, but he better keep his eyes open for a “Samoan Werewolf.”
During Monday’s Raw, WWE announced that Rollins will face Bron Breakker in a steel cage match on June 27 in Saudi Arabia. But in a moment that viewers may have missed, Roman Reigns seemingly ordered a hit on his former Shield partner.
After Jacob Fatu took out LA Knight, he met up with the OTC backstage. Before the segment closed, Reigns whispered something to Fatu. While the first
part was inaudible, his last words sounded like, “Seth Rollins, kill him.”
Earlier in the show, Reigns encouraged the Usos to put Knight in his place after the mouthy “Megastar” kept disrespecting their family. Jimmy tried to reason with Knight until Jey showed up and started popping off. As things turned physical, Fatu rushed in and obliterated the former U.S. Champion.
Like Knight, Rollins has had some choice words for the Bloodline. Tensions escalated during a backstage segment on the June 8 episode of Raw featuring Rollins, Montez Ford, the Usos, and Fatu. After Rollins insisted that his issues weren’t with their family but with Reigns, the former world champion hit the trio with a snide remark.
“Maybe the best it will ever be for you is being bag boys for Roman,” Rollins said.
Jey ordered Fatu to attack, but Fatu walked off.
After losing to Reigns in Tribal Combat at Clash In Italy, Fatu acknowledged Reigns as his Tribal Chief. He immediately let the Usos know, specifically Jey, that he doesn’t answer to them. Before taking out Knight on Monday, Reigns gifted Fatu with an Ula Fala and officially welcomed him into the Bloodline.
With Rollins possibly in his sights, Fatu could strike at Night of Champions while “The Visionary” is locked in a cage with Breakker. Such an attack would fit Fatu’s M.O. In January on SmackDown, he went after Drew McIntyre as McIntyre battled Cody Rhodes inside a cage.
