The Las Vegas Raiders have had a lot of turnover this offseason and new general manager John Spytek and head coach Pete Carroll has taken over the leadership of the organization.
Yet, while there is a lot of change, the Raiders aren’t projected to spend a lot of money on their 2025 roster.
According to a recent study by Lineups.com, the Raiders are projected to have the fourth-lowest paid roster in the NFL this season. The projection is a total team salary of 234.8 million. Of course, that number is fluid
based on the 53-man roster, which initially will be set next week.
But it appears the Raiders aren’t going to pay a ton of money this season. it’s understandable since the team has bid farewell to some high-paid players recently, the latest being defensive tackle Christian Wilkins who was cut this summer a year after signing a four-year, $110 million contract.
By the way, low spending doesn’t mean the team is weak. The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are projected to have the fourth-lowest paid roster in the NFL this season at $224 million.
