Ya’ll know that I am old, right? I have (and use) a flip phone and only a Facebook page as a connection to anything considered social media. Given that, it should not come as much of a surprise that I listen
to the radio on my 20 mile commute, to and from work each day. My mornings are with the Unsportsmanlike crew and my drive home is with Freddy and Harry. Monday mornings, the Unsportsmanlike cast offers to sum up each of Sunday’s games, with one line. I think it is supposed to be one sentence, but they allow some run on.
For some, prognostications were blown out of the water relatively early in the season. I think there are some that would still prefer to be right, than win and see that other fan be right, but for the most part I believe optimism is now the far more prevalent feeling of Colt fans. So, to put a twist on Unsportsmanlike’s Monday morning gig, how do think the game versus the Chiefs will be described, with one very short, or one longer run-on sentence? Here is your chance to be right, even if only for a week.
I have some examples, but I want to hear your own.
I’m thinking:
Colts announce their presence with authority, leaving Chiefs with one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel.
The report of Daniel Jones’ demise, has been greatly exaggerated.
Jonathan Taylor for MVP…No, seriously.
Caged Chiefs say “Remember us?”
Points for humor and accuracy, but I’m not really giving out points, so just tell us what you think.
