Barcelona have officially unveiled their new home kit ahead of the start of the 2026-27 La Liga season which will kick off with a home game against Athletic Club.
We’ve seen plenty of leaks of the new kit ahead of the big release but the club have finally dropped official photos and here it is…
Barcelona say the new home shirt “conserves the iconic blue and garnet stripes, with colour grading that
brings movement and depth to an aesthetic rooted in blaugrana identity, plus names and jersey numbers in a new typeface.”
The concept behind the kit is “Blaugrana heartbeat. The passions that move us” and here’s a bit more blurb as the club try to explain the thinking behind the new design.
“The Blaugrana heartbeat is the energy driving every play, every shout from the stands and every generation wearing the colours. This passion goes beyond results, it brings players and fans together, drives the Club and is passed on from generation to generation. This concept was the thread that ran throughout the presentation and gives meaning to a new kit that symbolises this emotional bond.”
