Kevin Nash is a WWE Hall of Famer turned critic of professional wrestling by way of his podcast. That means commenting on the state of affairs within the company he once was champion for, including giving his opinion on the young, up-and-coming talent in the business.
Recently, he was doing just that when he made some offensive remarks about Je’Von Evans. While speaking on the obviously talented star in the making, Nash critiqued his character by saying he’s “a little bit too fucking Mr. Bojangles
for me.” Doubling down, he went on to say, “I wish he was a little bit more urban.”
This didn’t sit well with quite a few folks, both within the industry and those who are simply fans of it. Instead of slinking away, Nash is actually engaging with the feedback by issuing an apology through his social media:
Nash’s heart, at least, seems to be in the right place in the sense that he likely didn’t intend to hurt anyone’s feelings. Having said that, he’s old enough to know there’s a way to get your point across without doing exactly that while offending a great deal of people in the process.
Hey, at least he apologized, right?
