After the Cleveland Browns’ 13-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens, they now sit atop the AFC North with a 4-2 record
. The AFC North remains extremely competitive, with Baltimore and the Pittsburgh Steelers both holding 4-2 records and the Cincinnati Bengals trailing closely behind at 3-2. Only the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs have better records than the Browns right now, while several other teams also hold 4-2 records.Their 2-0 record in the division will be extremely helpful as the season
goes on and gives them an advantage. While it is still early in the season, the Browns have placed themselves in the conversation. Beyond the Bills and Chiefs, teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, and Denver Broncos will all continue to lead the conversation for contenders in this conference.
The Browns’ next game is against the Tennessee Titans, who just secured their first win of the season. This game will be a massive opportunity for the team to pull ahead in the AFC North. The Steelers will be playing an international game against the New Orleans Saints, which is always a challenge regardless of the opponent. The Ravens and Bengals will face off in Baltimore, a matchup that will further shake up the division regardless of the outcome.
Now, there is a difference between a team’s record in the standings and where fans and media will rank them. The subjective ranking measure is about what could be coming, while the standings is about what has already happened. With that said…
Let me know what you think in the comments – Where do the Browns rank in the AFC right now?
