It’s game day, Rutgers fans! The Scarlet Knights are set to kick off against the Miami (OH) Redhawks today at 3:30 at SHI Stadium, with live coverage available on Peacock.
The Redhawks are the second good team from the MAC that Rutgers will be facing this year, after they survived a 34-31 thriller against Ohio in week 1. This will be another early test for Rutgers, as the Miami (OH) defense is one of the best in the group of six. It will also show how good the team and coaching staff are at making
adjustments week to week because Redhawk quarterback Dequan Finn and Ohio Quarterback Parker Navarro have a lot of similarities in their style of play. Both are extremely mobile quarterbacks with a big arm. Last week, Navarro totaled 332 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns. Rutgers’ defense will have to make major adjustments to avoid having that happen again.
