At the start of Week Five, the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles were the only two teams who had yet to lose a game during the 2025 NFL season. After the Eagles took a 21-17 loss to the Denver
Broncos earlier today, the Bills stand alone as the league’s only unbeaten. That could come to an end tonight if they aren’t focused against a hungry New England Patriots squad.
The Pats are coming off a dominant victory over the Carolina Panthers last week, winning 42-13 against a team that put 27 on the Miami Dolphins today in a comeback victory. Buffalo struggled with the New Orleans Saints, winning 31-19 in a game that was tight for much of the time it was played.
Buffalo is set to face off against some familiar faces tonight, as two of New England quarterback Drake Maye’s current targets are former targets of Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Stefon Diggs and Mack Hollins each return to Highmark Stadium tonight, but they’ll be in the visitors’ locker room this time around. Buffalo’s defense won’t have time for pleasantries, as they’ll need to contain a tough Patriots offensive attack. The Patriots’ defense has its hands full tonight, as well, as the Bills enter play as the No. 2 scoring offense in football.
