Barcelona starlet Ebrima Tunkara has been impressing at the Under-17s Euros for Spain, scoring once and bagging four assists for his team so far.
He’s also being watched by some big names, according to AS. Scouts from Manchester United, City and Juventus have all been present to watch the youngster in action.
Tunkara is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Barcelona’s academy and the club have already shown their commitment to the midfielder.
Barca confirmed in January they had secured
Tunkara’s immediate future with an agreement that came into effect on his 16th birthday back in March.
Barcelona boss Hansi Flick is also expected to include Tunkara on the club pre-season tour and give him a taste of first-team action.
Tunkara is still only 16 but has already played for Barca Atletic and been described by manager Juliano Belletti as a “special” talent. It’s therefore no real surprise to see clubs interested as he looks to have a very bright future ahead of him.
Spain and Tunkara are in action later today at the Under-17s Euros when they play Italy for a place in the final.
