In their first visit to El Sardinero in 15 years, Real Madrid emerged victorious with a 3-0 thrashing of Racing Santander in La Liga. The game was wrapped up before half-time courtesy of goals from Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham and Yan Diomande.

Jude Bellingham has reached a landmark 50 goals for Real Madrid in 154 games in all competitions. He’s also the second English player to reach that number for a Spanish club, after Gary Lineker scored 52 for Barcelona. Other players to have reached that figure for Real Madrid include Vinícius Júnior, Kylian Mbappé and Rodrygo Goes, while the next man to reach it could be Fede Valverde who is currently on 42.
3 – Players to have scored more Real Madrid league goals before their 20th birthday than Yan Diomande
Arda Güler (seven), Vinícius Júnior (four) and Gonzalo Higuaín (four). He’s the first player to have scored two goals from outside the box this season for Real Madrid, and also the first player to have scored four and registered four assists this season in all competitions. He is set to turn 20 in just 13 days, on November 14th, so could still add to the tally against AEK Athens or Valencia.
18 – Penalty goals for Kylian Mbappé in La Liga since joining Real Madrid
Since joining the club in 2024/25, Kylian Mbappé has scored 18 penalties in La Liga, missing four. That puts him level with Osasuna forward Ante Budimir, seven more than Real Sociedad captain Mikel Oyarzabal and 10 more than Barcelona’s Raphinha. This is his third consecutive conversion, having cored against Rayo Vallecano and Sevilla since a penalty miss against Real Betis early on in the campaign.

He created seven chances against both Málaga and Espanyol in the opening weeks of the season, but since then had not matched the figure. He also recorded his first assist, setting up Jude Bellingham, since the win over Roma when he set up two goals off the bench. He’s now on three goals and five assists in 13 games this season, surpassing his total goal contributions for his debut season in 2023/24 and being on track to record his best season yet.

With a goal in his first appearance against Racing Santander, Kylian Mbappé has added another victim. His favourite victim is Real Sociedad, against whom he’s scored seven goals in four games, one more than his six in four league games against Barcelona.
