NBC surely expected a great quarterback matchup when they decided to put next Saturday’s matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night for a broadcast on Peacock. After all, Jordan Love vs. Lamar Jackson is a great one on paper, especially with both teams in the playoff hunt.
Now there are major questions about both starting quarterbacks’ availability for the week 17 game. Love suffered a concussion agains the Bears last Saturday whole Jackson injured his back on Sunday
Night Football, which could lead to backups starting for both teams.
At least these are two of the better backip quarterbacks in the NFL, however. Malik Willis has been excellent in limited duty for the Packers over the last two years, while Tyler Huntley has been a solid player for multiple franchises over the last several years.
Still, fans of both teams – as well as NBC executives – will be watching the injury reports with bated breath heading towards next Saturday.
