Looking at the landscape and value for a quality kick returner with low-end wide receiver snap counts, I would guess a late fourth-round or early fifth-round pick is likely the compensation we could expect with a future pick thrown in.

We’ve got a mock trade scenario where Marvin Mims gets dealt for an early fifth-round pick. The pick number was randomly plucked, so whatever team had that pick originally is irrelevant.

I can’t complain about Eli Stowers taking the first pick. All I want for Christmas is to have my position concerns addressed … even if it ultimately means those drafted players don’t end up being NFL starters. LOL
It surprised me with the wide receiver heavy selections, but with Mims gone it would make sense to target a replacement. Then with Courtland Sutton aging it would make sense too to keep adding to the room to see if you can hit pay dirt with those seventh round picks.
Would you be happy if this ended up being the draft class for the Denver Broncos in 2026? For what it’s worth, I’d keep Mims for anything less than a third round pick and then some. But I’m a Marvin Mims big play enjoyer.
