The Atlanta Braves have made a transaction before today’s game with the Houston Astros.
Oh boy, the dreaded “right shoulder inflammation” for Daybsel Hernandez. This is pretty vague, but this injury could range anywhere from an owwee needing rest or structural damage requiring an amputation. He’s only back with Atlanta for one appearance in which the Seattle Mariners belted two home
runs off of him. To be fair, he wasn’t alone in getting shelled by the Mariners last weekend, but he may have needed an excused absence for that game. This may be just a ruptured success gland or IL stint for being bad, and let’s hope that it is for him.
Speaking of ruptured success glands, Hunter Stratton is back in Atlanta. What wine pairs with a 6.57 ERA? I don’t know. Does it matter which at this point of the season? But this is a baseball inspired food blog now anyway, so I thought I would ask. Hunter Stratton is fresh off giving up two hits and a run while retiring no one in Nashville last night.
