Barcelona Femeni booked their place in the 2026 Women’s Champions League final by beating Bayern Munich 4-2 at Camp Nou on Sunday in the second leg of their semi-final tie.
After a 1-1 draw in Germany, Barcelona took the lead early on through Salma Paralluelo. However, Bayern hit back quickly through Linda Dallmann to level the tie again.
Yet Barca weren’t to be denied and Alexia Putellas restored their lead midway through the first half. The Catalan giants then ran away with it in the second half,
with Ewa Pajor making it 3-1 before Alexia scored a great goal to finish off Bayern.
Pernille Harder did pull one back for the visitors but it was to prove only a consolation as Barcelona made it through to a sixth straight Champions League final.
There was also more joy for Barcelona as the game saw Aitana Bonmati make her long-awaited return to action after recovering from a broken leg as a substitute.
Pere Romeu’s side will face eight-time winner OL Lyonnes in the showpiece event after the French side knocked out defending champions Arsenal in their semi-final tie.
