Last Season: Conmy skated in 35 of the Eagles’ 36 games last season, scoring 27 points off 9 goals and 18 assists. His strongest performance was at the Beanpot final, where he tallied four assists as the Eagles won their first Beanpot in 10 years, and also stepped up when the Eagles were down to UConn late in the Hockey East semifinal. Though the team eventually lost the latter game in overtime, he’s showed
that he’s able to rip a shot when the situation calls for it.
Season Outlook: Conmy will likely play an even bigger role on the team than he did last season — and with a full season of Boston College hockey under his belt, he’ll be able to rise up to the challenge. He’ll continue to be in the top six and get power play time right off the bat, especially as some of the freshmen and newcomers adjust to the NCAA and BC Hockey. It also wouldn’t be surprising to see him on the top line the entirety of the season, depending on how the chemistry has developed between him and some of the other top scorers on this team.
