The Baltimore Ravens are starting the 2026 season in relatively good health.
Cornerback Bilhal Kone and running back Adam Randall, the team’s injured reserve placements during roster cuts, are more like stashes who were not expected to contribute early in the year, if at all. Losing Danny Pinter, who was leading the starting center competition, is certainly a blow, but he was no guarantee to win the job, either. And on the first injury report of the regular season, only four players are listed, all with
limited participation.
Linebacker Teddye Buchanan (knee) and defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) are still ramping up from the injuries that ended their 2025 season. Playing in Week 1 seems to be within reach, though the team may want them to put in at least one full practice on either Thursday or Friday.
Wide receivers Zay Flowers (hamstring) and Devontez Walker (groin) were both listed as limited, though Flowers said after practice that he expects to play on Sunday in Indianapolis. An absence from Walker would give sole possession of the WR3 role to third-round pick Ja’Kobi Lane. Fourth-rounder Elijah Sarratt would also take on a game day role.
The Colts also reported four players as limited, including two starters: wide receiver Alec Pierce (heel) and safety A.J. Haulcy (ankle). Pierce missed all of training camp as he recovered from offseason ankle surgery. He is expected to play against the Ravens, but may do so on a pitch count as he ramps up to 100%. Haulcy, a third-round pick, is listed as the team’s starting strong safety; 2025 seventh-rounder Hunter Wohler would be in line to start if the rookie cannot go.
Indianapolis’ other injuries are to backup center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger (illness) and No. 3 blocking tight end Drew Ogletree (neck). Offensive lineman Josh Sills and tight end Pharaoh Brown would likely be elevated from the practice squad as replacements.
