Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald never seemed overly concerned about rookie running back Jadarian Price’s injury, and his return to the field seems to indicate he had no reason to be.
Price was a full participant in Monday’s non-contact practice for the first time since August 7, after missing five consecutive sessions and the preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys while recovering from nagging leg soreness. The 2026 first-round pick slotted into the team’s starting offense, where he’s
trending toward playing in the regular season.
During his absence, Price was listed as a limited participant on the team’s August 11 walkthrough, which seemingly indicated his return was on the horizon.
Backup running back Jacardia Wright (lower leg) also returned to practice following an extended absence, likely a move that prompted the releases of T.J. Harden and Justin Jones this morning, after both were signed early last week.
Price and Wright’s returns bode well for their chances to play in the team’s second preseason game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, although Macdonald hasn’t provided an indication of whether either will take the field.
