That price tag is utterly ridiculous for Baleba, so Bayern shelling out that much cash is highly unlikely. However, it is imperative that Goretzka is not extended. He has outgrown his role at the club and no longer fits Vincent Kompany’s system at Bayern. There’s no point in teaching an old dog new tricks, especially if he can’t keep up. Brazilian youngster Ze Lucas and even Tom Bischof is enough of a replacement.
