Lamine Yamal scored his 50th goal for Barcelona in some style on Monday night against Rayo Vallecano in La Liga at Camp Nou.
The teenager fired a brilliant left-footed effort into the top corner to make it 2-1 and bring up his half century for the Catalan giants.
Yamal is now the youngest player from any team in the five major leagues to reach this milestone since, at least, the 2014/15 season, according to Opta.
Barcelona made it clear to mention how he’s reached 50 goals at a younger age than both
Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
The goal is Yamal’s first of the season and put Barcelona in front after Rayo had stunned Camp Nou with an opening goal against the run of play.
Raphinha hit back to make it 1-1 for the Catalan giants before Yamal’s stunner put Barcelona back in front after just 21 minutes of the game.
