When word broke that Lennart Karl suffered an injury was going to be out for the foreseeable future, fans immediately wanted to know who might take Karl’s roster spot for the next few weeks.
Per Bild (via @iMiaSanMia), Guido Della Rovere was in line to get that chance:
Following Lennart Karl’s injury, Guido della Rovere (18) could be set for his first team debut soon. The left footed attacking midfielder is being scouted by several Italian and German clubs, but having already trained with the first team several times
in recent months, he wants to be in Bayern’s squad more frequently and eventually make his first few professional appearances.
However, during his match with FC Bayern II, Della Rovere appears to have suffered a non-contact injury:
