When Danhausen was revealed as the host of Halloween Havoc, it made sense. After all, he is very nice but very evil, and his entire gimmick is suited for the theme. The guy might be a demon!
That wasn’t enough for WWE (is it ever?) for this week, though. No, the company also revealed he would be hosting his very own special, one that would air immediately following this week’s episode of NXT television. It’s not exactly clear what to expect from this, but the synopsis from the YouTube live stream

Kick off your Halloween celebration with Danhausen as he welcomes the WWE Universe into his laboratory for an evening of spooky matches, scary Superstars and special guest appearances.
WWE has smartly pulled back on Danhausen’s usage after burning up a ton of TV time for him following the New York Knicks success on the back of his uncursing the long suffering franchise. But he remains popular (and lucrative) so why not try something new?
