Chelsea, Liverpool, Barca want Olise, too (The Hard Tackle)
While Bayern Munich might have no plans on selling Michael Olise, it is very clear that there will be some suitors that come calling next summer for the Frenchman. Chelsea, Liverpool, and FC Barcelona are all expected to make a play for the talented attacker:
Bayern Munich attacker Michael Olise has been linked with a move away from Germany of late, but a pay rise may be on the cards.
According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Barcelona are interested in Michael
Olise. However, Bayern Munich are prepared to offer the French international a bumper new contract with higher wages to fend off the three clubs.
There probably is not a reason for Bayern Munich to sweat…yet. The Bavarians will almost assuredly offer Olise a contract extension (and a hefty raise) in an attempt to get out ahead of this. However, if the club chooses not to and relies on Olise to honor his current deal, it could empower those other clubs to take a big swing.
Müller talks final days at Bayern (DAZN via @iMiaSanMia)
Former Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller recently talk about how he felt during his final days with the club.
“I thank everyone that got in touch. I felt a lot of appreciation from people involved in football, whether it’s fans or people in charge of other clubs. Of course I had a very good career, that has to be said. Things went very well for me. I felt that people’s appreciation is from their hearts, telling me that they were grateful or that they had fun working with me. That makes me very happy,” said Müller.

Inter to make play for Upamecano (Sempre Inter)
Inter Milan could be among the teams to make a play for Bayern Munich center-back Dayot Upamecano:
Dayot Upamecano, Diogo Leite, and Konstantinos Koulierakis have emerged as potential defensive targets for Inter Milan. According to FCInterNews, the Italian giants are scouring the German market for a new center-back.
Dayot Upamecano could become a realistic option for Inter, given his contractual wobble in Munich. Despite his regular first-team status, the Frenchman could enter the free agent pool next summer. Indeed, he has less than 12 months left to run on his current contract.
Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Manchester United have all been linked to Upamecano as well. The free-agent-to-be is also reportedly set to re-enter contract talks with Bayern Munich as well.
Dreesen wants Bayern developing players (@iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen is eager to see his club start churning out young talent again.
“Of course. We have the campus. We don’t only want to develop young players and sell them, we also want to integrate our academy players into the first team. Unfortunately that did not work out as often as we had hoped. We managed to integrate Pavlović, Stanišić and Musiala. In the case of Aznou that didn’t work out – the sporting management and the coach decided to give him the opportunity to develop elsewhere because that wasn’t possible with us. I think it was the right decision,” said Dreesen.

Hainer still sees Leverkusen as threat (Sport Bild via @iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer still thinks Bayer Leverkusen will be a force to be reckoned with in the Bundesliga.
“We generally focus on ourselves. But Bayer Leverkusen has been doing an excellent job overall for decades; you just have to think about the era of Reiner Calmund and Rudi Völler. They had an outstanding season the season before last. Consistently playing at the top level for years, as FC Bayern does, is an extremely big challenge – for any club. We, too, have to prove ourselves anew every year,” Hainer noted.
Ex-Colombia coach touts Díaz (Sport1 via @iMiaSanMia)
Reinaldo Rueda used to coach Luis Díaz during his time as Colombia’s manager. Needless to say, Rueda is happy to see Díaz doing well at Bayern Munich.
“I’m very happy that he chose Bayern. I wish him all the very best. I’m sure that coach Vincent Kompany will give him the trust he needs. Liverpool was, of course, a great period in his career, but if everything goes well, Bayern can become Luis Díaz’s second great success story. If he embraces German culture and the German language, and the club does everything they can to ensure the integration of his family, then I believe we will all see the success and performances we want and that he is capable of,” Rueda said.
