It was around this time last year, following WrestleMania 41, when WWE had a round of roster cuts and departures. It’s probably not a coincidence then that WrestleMania 42 is now in the rearview mirror, and Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp says “WWE releases are happening” tonight.
The following wrestlers are reportedly gone from WWE:
- Uncle Howdy
- Nikki Cross
- Joe Gacy
- Zoey Stark
- Alba Fyre
It’s not clear if these wrestlers have been technically released by WWE, or if contracts have expired and not been renewed.
Stark has been off WWE programming since suffering
a gruesome knee injury on Raw in May 2025. Sapp is told that was she was recently cleared to return.
Uncle Howdy (fka Bo Dallas), Nikki Cross and Gacy were members of the Wyatt Sicks faction that recently dropped the WWE tag team championship and lost an underwhelming feud against MFT. Cross barely got any ring time and didn’t have much of a role in the group other than doing an occasional mid-match dive and screaming loudly.
Alba Fyre has been working a lower card gimmick on SmackDown as part of Chelsea Green’s Secret Hervice.
We’ll keep you updated as this story unfolds tonight.
