The A’s will make a second stab at a series win this afternoon at Chase Field in Phoenix against the Arizona Diamondbacks. After taking the first game of the series 5-2 and then dropping last night’s matchup 6-5 in ten innings, the A’s will go for the win before heading to Minnesota to finish the road trip against the Twins.
Starting today for the Kelly-Green and Gold will be Gage Jump. Jump, the 23-year-old lefty is currently 3-5 with a 3.78 ERA over ten starts in 2026. He’ll go up against 37-year-old
righty Merrill Kelly for the D-backs. Kelly is 8-7 with a 5.20 ERA over t17 starts this season. He’s struck out sixty-two opponents in 98.2 innings.
