The Cleveland Browns opened as 10.5-point underdogs at home against the Buffalo Bills ahead of their Week 16 match-up, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under on the game is 42.5.
The Browns (3-11) are coming off of a 31-3 loss to the Chicago Bears. Cleveland had the hat trick of every unit performing poorly. Special teams was abysmal again, the defense was being sliced through by QB Caleb Williams, tackling was poor, the backup offensive line couldn’t protect well, and QB Shedeur Sanders
threw three interceptions (although one of them should be credited to WR Jerry Jeudy…). It was one of the least competitive games you’ll see on the NFL stage, unless maybe you’re the Las Vegas Raiders. While some teams like the Titans and Saints are showing fight as the season comes to a close, Cleveland is withering.
The Bills (10-4) are coming off of a huge come-from-behind win over the New England Patriots. Although they still trail in the NFC East by a game, the victory opens the door for them to take the division still, which didn’t look realistic when they were losing 24-7 at the half. They out-scored the Patriots 28-7 in the second half to prevail 35-31. Buffalo still has their share of flaws that QB Josh Allen helps cover up with his heroics, but he’s one-of-a-kind.
The over/under for the game is 42.5. Can Cleveland find some fight to reach that total? And will Myles Garrett break the NFL sack record?
What odds would you take if you were placing a bet?
