I guess Real American Freestyle (RAF) listened to all the complaints about warehousing UFC leftovers.
The promotion today announced the addition of Olympic gold medalist and six-time world champion Jordan Burroughs, who is expected to make his debut at RAF 12 on Aug. 22 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. No opponent has been revealed just yet; however, Burroughs, 37, already has a couple of names in mind.
“Give me Islam [Makhachev] and Arman [Tsarukyan] in the same night,” Burroughs said.
RAF has a fairly
active schedule for summer 2026, starting with RAF 10 this weekend at St Louis’s Chaifetz Arena. The event will be headlined by former UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev taking on jiu-jitsu grappler Dillon Danis.
That’s followed by the matchup between UFC veterans Arman Tsarukyan and Colby Covington at RAF 11 on July 18 inside UWM Panther Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. RAF 12 in Cleveland will close out the summer on Aug. 22 with Burroughs as the first confirmed athlete.
Additional matchups are expected to be announced in the coming days.
