Bayern Munich is minted, having great players in nearly every position and having (mostly) solid backups all around. The Rekordmeister isn’t content just yet, which is why they are targeting two highly rated players (via Sport Bild’s Tobi Altschaffl and Christian Falk as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia).
First is Givairo Read, to whom Bayern made clear that he is a player they want (being one of Max Eberl’s top targets). Feyenoord want around €30 million and things are looking good that Read will
end up in Munich in the summer.
Next is Yan Diomande, who put up a show against Bayern in their most recent meeting. Bayern are ready to spend on the left wing position but are balking at the €60 million asking price for Diomande. Bayern like the player and are aware it’s ‘now or never’ to get him, because otherwise he would go to England and become impossible to reach.
These two will strengthen two positions at Bayern (Read in defence and Diomande up front) which, despite the situations of Kim Min-jae, Dayot Upamecano, and Serge Gnabry, adds another level to Bayern’s game.
