You’ve seen it.
You know that look.
A college football game is coming to a close, and it’s become obvious that one of the men coaching in that game will not be giving any high-spirited victory speeches postgame.
His team is about to lose, and everybody within a 40 mile radius and watching at home knows it.
“Ryan Day’s monogrammed beard comb!” you exclaim to your friends, “What must that sad sack be thinking right now?” In that regard, ladies and gentledawgs, this was Kentucky coach Mark Stoops during Saturday’s 35-14 loss to Georgia:

What was Mark Stoops thinking?
I have some thoughts:
- “First Beamer, now Kirby. If you can’t trust your golf buddies to save your job who can you trust?”
- “Where have you gone, Will Levis? Big Blue Nation turns its lonely eyes to you.”
- “Really just need to win 2 more before basketball season. Basketball season’s like ‘base’ in a game of tag for Kentucky football coaches.”
- “I should have asked to be paid in bourbon. And horses.”
Feel free to take your own dive into the mind of Mark in the comments.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
