Texas A&M began the 2026 season with a 50-0 win over Missouri State. The level of competition dramatically increases in Week Two as the Aggies play host to the Arizona State Sun Devils at Kyle Field. Per FanDuel, Texas A&M is a 15.5-point favorite when the Sun Devils come to town on Saturday. The over/under is set at 54.5.
Arizona State opened its 2026 season by beating FCS opponent Morgan State 70-7 in Tempe. The Sun Devils finished 8-5 in 2025, a somewhat disappointing campaign after the playoff
berth in 2o24, and of course lost QB Sam Leavitt (who is now at LSU). Arizona State and Texas A&M have met just one time on the gridiron, a 2015 win for the Aggies over the Sun Devils at NRG Stadium in Houston.
Both Arizona State and Texas A&M come into this matchup looking to add another one to the win column and stay undefeated on the young season. The early non-conference matchup could serve as an indicator for how each team will fare in 2026. 15.5 feels like a lot of points for Texas A&M to be favored by, especially given the slow start by the Aggie offense in Week One.
Let’s see if the Aggies can live up to expectations.
