The Dallas Cowboys drafted Michigan edge rusher Jaishawn Barham in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft with the No. 92 overall pick.
Barham started his collegiate career at Maryland as a linebacker and transferred to Michigan after two seasons. Barham would go on to play as a linebacker at Michigan in 2024, before transitioning to being an edge rusher in 2025.
In all, Barham made 47 career starts with 193 tackles (23
for loss), 12 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one interception.
Barham will be playing for Cowboys defensive coordinator Christian Parker, who’s in his first year with the franchise after serving as the defensive backs coach of the Philadelphia Eagles previously. Will Barham stay at edge, or will he move back to inside linebacker?
