Don’t worry.
No. 1-ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight Movsar Evloev is officially in London ahead of his main event clash with No. 3-ranked Lerone Murphy at UFC London this weekend (Sat., March 21, 2026) inside the O2 Arena in London, England.
For a brief moment, it looked like Evloev might be forced to withdraw — again — as rumors swirled about potential visa issues preventing the undefeated Russian from traveling to the United Kingdom.
But those concerns can officially be put
to rest.
“Assalam alaykum to everyone, we finally made it to London,” Evloev said in a video. “I can’t believe it, there was so much fuss. Now all that’s left is to make weight, and I’ll get the job done.”
Given Evloev’s history, the concern was understandable. The undefeated contender has had 10 fights canceled during his UFC tenure — though only half of those were due to issues on his end.
Now, with both fighters in place, one of the most important Featherweight matchups of the year appears locked in.
While the UFC has not officially labeled Evloev vs. Murphy as a No. 1 contender bout, it’s widely expected that the winner will be next in line for a title shot … well, maybe not.
Evloev (19-0) has been flawless inside the Octagon, earning nine straight wins with notable victories over Aljamain Sterling, Arnold Allen, and Diego Lopes.
Meanwhile, Murphy remains undefeated in his UFC run and is coming off a highlight-reel knockout win over Aaron Pico at UFC 319 last year (watch highlights).
