Elliot Anderson recently completed a record-breaking £116m transfer to Manchester City, making him the most expensive British player in history. Meanwhile, Spurs have either struck oil or signed a deal with the devil, after inking Sandro Tonali for a club-record £100m — breaking their £85m record transfer of Mateus Fernandes set just four days prior.
