David Finlay recently left New Japan Pro Wrestling to sign with AEW, where he is a member of The Dogs, alongside Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors.
In a new interview with WrestleZone, David explained why it was a very easy decision to sign with AEW, despite there being a very obvious spot in the Birthright faction waiting for him in NXT, with his brother Uriah Connors and father Fit Finlay both working in WWE.
“Obviously, I’ve got family ties in another company. I sat and thought about it, and I was like,
well, I have never made a dime with my brother. I have never made a dime with my father. And I’ve made fat stacks of cash with these boys here. So the choice was easy.”
When Kidd followed up by saying, “Fuck his dad!” David made this bold claim about Fit’s greatest accomplishment in life.
“My dad’s greatest accomplishment is the fact that I came out of his nut sack. That is the greatest thing he’s ever accomplished.”
Fit Finlay took to social media to correct David’s inaccurate statement about his balls.
