our answer: it’s Blake Baker.
Baker will remain at LSU for the 2026 season after being hotly pursed by Tulane, Baker’s alma mater. Instead, the Broyles Award finalist will be back for a third year in Baton Rouge and give the Tigers some much needed stability as they transition from Brian Kelly to Lane Kiffin.
The news was first reported by Chris Low and then Kiffin himself took to Twitter (naturally) to confirm it. Kiffin was set to appear on College Gameday tomorrow, but instead hung around town to help get his recruiting class and coaching staff salted away.
