Los Garza’s future in WWE may be in question after Angel Garza blacked out his profile picture on X and thanked fans for their support after Raw.
“Thank you to everyone who never jumped off the ship and kept supporting the Garza Legacy through it all,” Garza wrote.
Earlier in the night, Garza and his cousin Berto met with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Later, during Oba Femi’s open challenge, Femi dragged them to the ring after no one answered the challenge. Still in their street clothes, Los Garza lost
in a squash.
Garza’s post follows weeks of social media teases. On April 4, he shared a photo of himself and Berto in the ring with an hourglass in the corner as the image began to fade in a visual reminiscent of Thanos’ snap in Marvel’s Avengers films.
He continued posting pictures as the fading increased. On April 27, he added, “A-nytime A-nywhere A-nyone.” The emphasis on the “A”s fueled speculation about a possible return to AAA, WWE’s lucha libre promotion.
Berto shared similar images, including a blackout photo on Monday. His profile picture, though, remains unchanged.
Garza and Berto reportedly signed new three-year deals with WWE in 2024. But in recent weeks, WWE has released several stars, including the New Day, and reportedly sought to restructure other contracts, with pay cuts of up to 50%.
While Garza’s post reads like a farewell, it’s unclear whether he and Berto are leaving WWE or switching brands.
