Name: Ryan Conmy
Position: Forward
Year: Junior
Number: 36
Height: 5’10”
Hometown: Alexandria, VA
Last Season: Conmy transfers into BC after two years playing for the UNH Wildcats. Last season, he led UNH in total points (33) while playing as a right winger on their first line. He also had an 11-game point streak that included 6 goals and 8 assists. He is a 6th-round NHL Draft pick of the Los Angeles Kings.
Season Outlook: Conmy is a great scorer and is expected to play on BC’s top line this season alongside
James Hagens and likely Teddy Stiga. Scouts have noted Conmy’s ability to play against bigger defenders and spin off of them to get his shot off. He’s also tenacious at getting loose pucks and he doesn’t get bullied very often despite his shorter frame. He should bring a lot of grit to BC’s top forwards group, something that they have really needed over the past few seasons at times.
Fun Fact: Conmy won UNH’s internal award, the “Nate Hardy Iron Man Award” for best fitness on the team.
